Registering Your Account

To use electronic cheques as a deposit or withdrawal method, you must register your bank account with Cashier. You can register more than one account.

The Cashier interface provides access to several places where you can register your bank accounts. If you wish to deposit or withdraw funds using electronic cheques for the first time, the Electronic Cheque Registration page opens immediately. You must enter the required account information, defined below, to register your accounts.

  • If you are registering additional accounts, look for the Or click HERE to register a new account option to open the Electronic Cheque Registration page.

Once you register your account, you must confirm it before you can begin depositing or withdrawing money using electronic cheques.

To register your account, you will need to provide:

  • account type, either chequing or savings
  • account ABA transit number
  • account number

The account's ABA transit number represents the financial institution's unique, nine-digit number, which is assigned by the American Bankers Association. This number is usually located between the ABA symbol symbols.

The account number represents your account number with the financial institution and is usually located after the last ABA symbol symbol and before the Account number symbol symbol.
